Healthy Corn Salad with Herbs

1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn (drained)
1 medium tomatoes (seeded and diced)
2 tablespoons onions (chopped)
1⁄3 cup mayonnaise
1⁄2 teaspoon dried basil
salt and pepper

Mix all ingredients in a small bowl. Season with the basil or try with other herbs. I like basil and cooked corn. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cover the salad and refrigerate until ready to serve.

(A Proven study in the Journal of Agricultural Food and Chemistry showed that the longer the corn was cooked, the higher the level of antioxidants lutein which helps fight blindness in older adults.)
